Welcome to my Severance Logos & Resources page!

Here you will find many of the wonderful logos and designs from the Apple TV+ show “Severance.” As a fan of the show, I found the design within a treat, from the way things are laid out, to all of the creative branding and design choices in passing, not just front and center. I have done my best to gather many, many screenshots and resources from the show and related materials to re-create all of these to the best of my ability. These are for use in the many fan art productions, cosplays, and expressions that exist already and will continue as seasons go on.

As with my other deep-dive projects, these pieces are made to express my appreciation of the handiwork of the designers and art team of the production. Their work often goes unnoticed which is a shame as it often skips the best part of shows like these: Making something feel real, not only to your viewers, but to the actors on set and giving writers inspiration by putting visuals in their hands. It also gives designers a chance to make decisions informed on research and experience, asking questions like, “What IS on a label and why is it there in the first place?” or “If I were a designer in this world, how would that inform my design choices?” A curious mind finds joy in the minutiae of whatever world it is given, inhabiting the characters themselves to make purposeful design decisions informed by reality and the fictional setting. If I need to know why something looks a certain way, I need to know why it exists in the first place. It’s both an incredible skill and also an expected one at such a caliber. It’s also a comfort to know that so many designers exist in these fictitious worlds that we never get to meet or see, and yet their handiwork is everywhere. Nice to know we have job security if we get plunged into a crack in the space-time-continuum.
